Sponsor Licence Applications And Management
If you wish to employ skilled workers who do not have an automatic right to work in the UK, your business will need a sponsor licence. This will allow you to issue Certificates of Sponsorship to overseas workers, which they will need in order to obtain a visa.
Applying for a sponsor licence can be a complex process. As an employer, both you and your business must be eligible and you must put systems in place to monitor sponsored workers. You will also need to check that the jobs you wish to fill are eligible and appoint people to manage you sponsor licence once it has been granted.
A large number of documents are needed to accompany an application for a sponsor licence. We can work with you to identify the strongest evidence you have available in support and ensure that you demonstrate that you meet all of the necessary criteria.
You will need to appoint one or more individuals to deal with the running of your sponsor licence once it has been issued. The roles to be filled are an authorising officer, a key contact and a level 1 user who will input information into the government’s sponsorship management system.
